History of Herbs and Dreams
Lauren Morgan has been practicing and teaching folk herbalism, plant spirit medicine and community dreamweaving since 2013.
Though the classes have gone by many names, the core has remained - guided by a prayer to awaken seeds of rememberance in the hearts of modern people through the grounded, practical and absolutely magical portals of plant kinship and dreaming.
In 2024, guided by dreams, Lauren changed the name to Herbs and Dreams and put her work online.
The Herbs and Dreams Podcast launched in 2025. We’re now over 50 episodes in… and we’re just getting started!
The Membership is a treasure trove of foundational courses intended to get dreamweavers going on the path of remembering how it’s done.
We also train community leaders in the Teacher Training program to serve our vision of helping plant dreamweavers in every community on Mother Earth.

Greetings beautiful people, and welcome to Herbs and Dreams!
I suppose you could say I started exploring these threads 20 years ago when I entered my first herbal apprenticeship. Though in truth, my exploration began much earlier - as a young child when I was dream traveling and contacting myself across time… though didn’t know it.
This has been my life’s work. Herbs and Dreams is my passion, my purpose, and my role to play in the Web of Life.
I’m a dreamweaver, community herbalist, Earth-based ceremonialist, healer, author, mother and teacher, creatrix and host of the Herbs and Dreams Podcast.
I live in the majestic Olympic Mountains with my husband and two children, who are the greatest treasures in my life. I have a large medicinal herb garden, an apothecary stocked with homegrown medicines, and my teaching space The Dream Barn where all this medicine is cooked up.
It's an absolute treasure to share with you all I’ve gathered about how you, too, can ally with the herbs and the dreams for healing on behalf of all, including your own precious self.
